Yasir Naqvi is a Canadian politician. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the 2007 provincial election, representing the riding of Ottawa Centre. He is a member of the Liberal Party. He is a graduate of Carleton University and the University of Ottawa Law School.
Naqvi practiced law at Lang Michener LLP and taught at the University of Ottawa Law School. He was born and raised in Pakistan and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1988.
His brother Ali has been a candidate for the New Democratic Party of Canada.
