Yellow Box

 

A programming interface for the Rhapsody operating system from Apple, which later became Mac OS X. The Yellow Box is an enhanced version of the OpenStep API from NexT Computer, which was acquired by Apple. The Yellow Box was later renamed Cocoa in OS X. See Cocoa, Mac OS X and Blue Box.
