Pleasant enough new age synth stuff from Buffett, but this may have been created and issued just a bit too fast to capitalize on the success of the previous album (which contained his "Fire Dance" music from Dances with Wolves). The music comes across with a surprising lack of energy, striking me as functionally composed -- leaving no more impression than facile advertising music. It makes good background music, but there's nothing here for the heart to get a grip on. ~ Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
