Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve
Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve in south-west Israel is a 4,000 acre breeding center administered by the Israel Nature & National Parks Protection Authority.
Endangered and extinct animals mentioned in the Bible are bred here for possible reintroduction to the Negev desert. Some of the animals that live there is:
- Somali Wild Ass
- Arabian Oryx
- Scimitar Oryx
- Ostrich (S. c. camelus )
- Onager
- Caracal (Caracal caracal schmitzi)
- Sand Cat (Felis margarita harrisoni)
- Arabian Leopard
- Arabian Wolf
- Dorcas Gazelle
- Griffon Vulture
- Nubian Ibex
