Ernest (Ivan Paluch) is the lonely soldier who dreams of his former girlfriend when he makes love to an older female, the local innkeeper. Alone on Sunday in the barracks, he tries to shoot cellar rats for fun but ends up being attacked by one. Two young women have camped on army property and Ernest is sent to investigate. He then goes to town and gets drunk. Returning to the barracks, the depressed and alienated soldier contemplates suicide as the only way out of his bleak situation. ~ Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide
