Review

Compendia 's Zen Garden series blends musical vistas with natural ambience to create a landscape of relaxation. This volume, entitled Refreshing Winds, features lush piano the flutters on a lilting, gentle breeze. The mood is enlivened by the occasional croak of a frog or a chirping bird, as well as the song of the grasshopper. The accessible contemporary instrumental pieces are well-suited to any relaxing activity, from napping to massage, and all settle into a nice overall pace that isn't too slow, but certainly doesn't move fast. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
