Zmyrna

Zmyrna, short Latin epic poem in hexameters on the myth of Myrrha and Adonis by C. Helvius Cinna (c.70–44 BC). Only three lines survive. It was worked on by its author for nine years, and seems to have typified the influence of Alexandrianism on Roman poetry. Catullus predicted immortality for it.
