Yanagida (柳田村; -mura) was a village located in Fugeshi District, Ishikawa, Japan. On March 1, 2005 the village merged with the town of Uchiura (from neighboring Suzu District) into the town of Noto and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 4,101 and a density of 39.38 persons per km². The total area was 104.14 km².

Pronunciation

Although the legal name of the village is YANAGIDA, inhabitants and neighbours pronounce the name YANAIDA, which most people are convinced that is the formal name.
