The psp go does not have a umd player in it. You can only get games from the PlayStation Store. If you get your umd's saved to your memory stick for your old PSP you could play the games off of the memory stick.

∙ 13y agoYes, sometimes there are free games and demos available on the PSN, accessable from the PSP Go itself. Also I'm not sure what it's like for other countries, but right now here in the UK you can get a PSP Go for £200, and the offer includes 10 free downloadable games, including Little Big Planet PSP and others.

There's no UMD on the PSP Go. So you can only download games and play them on the PSP GO.
