check to see if you have power going to all the signals with a tester
No you do not need a battery, but the lights and horn will not work unless you have a battery installed, dead or not.

You should be able to do it by hitting Start, then Control panel and when the list comes up hit Software installed and that should give you a list of what's installed. Find the photo express and delete it.
Start by checking the grounds. There's a loose connection in there somewhere.
Most likely your auto choke is not working properly.
When you attempt the start the engine it will not start and will more than likely damage the valves and or pistons.
If the lights are not working after using the remote start on a 2003 F-250, then something is wrong with the way it was wired when the remote start was installed. The remote start has wires to hook up to the lights so that a person knows the vehicle started. Perhaps this step was skipped in installation.
I had this issue turned out to be one of the switches on the door. Does the dash show any door ajar lights? If so start on that door
Good idea to check the battery. Might need to be charged, or changed.
This is an interference engine. Have this done by a professional. If the belt is not installed correctly, serious engine damage will occur when you start the engine.
