Try a different weight motor oil, one that will lube the lifters better when hot. Also use a quieting additive to quiet lifters.

There should be an idle screw right by or under your throttle
you can adjust you headlights by backing out a small screw or screwing it in, directly next to the headlight assembly..under the hood. pretty sure
That engine has an EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) system. There is no adjustment.

Yes, 12 of them. Typically one will go bad and tick. If you're going to replace one, replace them all. Can get all 12 on ebay motors for ~$150. Replacing them all will prevent problems down the road.
Well it depends what you mean by "adjust". Since I think you mean angle, there was a kit issued with a lot of ZXs that was made for adjusting the lense in a grey foam container beside the spair. Do it the old school way and just let the car idle and adjust your CAS until you hear and knock and then go back the other way until you hear a ping, then do it until you hear nothing. Lock it down and be on your way.
