Theres a speedometer sensor on the side of the trani try that
If the speedo works and the odometer doesn't, it neeeds to go to the speedo shop as the problem is inside the spedo. GoodluckJoe
TAke it to a speedo shop as something is wrong in the speedo itself.
The problem is inside the speedo and has to go to a speedo shop to be repaired.
If the speedo il ok but the odometer doesn't work, take it to a speedo shop as the problem is in the speedo.
replace your speed sensor
mine doesnt hit 220k maxed speedo
If the odometer also quits, the problem is probably the speed sensor or wiring to it. If the odometer keeps turning when the spedo quits, it is in the spedo itself and needs to go to the speedo shop.
You can remove the speedo assembly and remove the bulb, problem solved. You can remove the speedo assembly and remove the bulb, problem solved.
It's a common problem. If it's staying at 19mph all the time, the speedo head is bad. It's common for some solder points to come undone. If you know how to solder, you could do that. If your cruise control doesn't work and your speedo doesn't work, it's your VSS. It's by the trans and really easy to change. Hope this helps.
Yes , I have the 9 spoke rims on my 2004 accord. You will have to go with 50 series tires though to keep your speedo accurate. The bolt pattern is the same and offset is the same. 17 X6.5 rims
Hey Tony==Either manual or electric spedo if this happens the problem in in the speedo and needs to go to the speedo shop. GoodluckJoe
