1993 Chevy it had v6 know is v8 the pump is working but cut out a lot you have plent of gas would like to know why it is cutting out and could it be getting to many amps at the fuel pump?

I have work on alot of trucks but not many that is fuel injected and just can not figure this out so if you got an info i would like to here it i have also thought about putting a carb. on it
