The brakes may make a clicking noise if the caliper is going bad. I just changed the brakes and the rotors and discovered my car was making a clicking noise. The garage I took it to replaced the caliper, so now it doesn't make the noise anymore.
what is the best way to bleed brakes when installing new caliper on front left wheel
If the front brake caliper is sticking, the disc may be uneven. Brakes that are left to scrape on the disc for a long time before they are changed will damage the disc enough to cause sticking or slipping.
The caliper is one part of the brake system.

You probably have a caliper the is stuck. This is most noticable as a pull to one side or the other when applying the brakes. The harder you step on the pedal, the more it pulls.
looks like you need to bleed your brakes they most likely have air in them and bleeding them should fix this
Disc brakes at the top of the caliper Drum brakes at the top of the wheel cylinder
Should be disc brakes and not adjustable caliper slides to compensate for lining wear unless caliper slides are frozen
THERE ARE TWO BOLTS ON EACH SIDE OF THE CALIPER REMOVE THOSE AND PULL THE CALIPER OFF
Frozen brake caliper
I change the brakes on an Audi by removing the caliper. This is done by taking out the Allen head screws from the from the back side. If the rotor is worn, it will have a ridge along the outside so you'll probably have to knock the caliper off with a hammer. After you take the caliper off, take off the old pads find a tool to help you screw in the piston that presses the pads. This will give you enough room to put the caliper back on with the new(and thicker) pads installed. Most brakes i have changed in the past have the pistons that press in with a pair of channel locks or a C-clamp so this one kinda threw me for a loop when i tried it. And by the way, the brakes i changed were on an '01 A4 and i assume yours will be the same. Also, i am not a certified tech, so there are probably some shortcuts i don't know about but this is how i did it. mark
