Check the viscosity of your Transmission Fluid, then ask what's appropriate weight for transmission fluid in your area.
Maybe internal transmission problem 1st and cheapest step would be to change fluid and filter

hello, well in fact the problem is not the lcd, the problem is the led the is back the lcd you have to get out the radio , quit the case and replace the led.
I had this problem with my 1994 Bonneville SE. would try checking the transmission fluid level(that was the problem with mine). If the transmission fluid level is where it's supposed to be then it could be that the transmission is going out or you may need to check the torque converter. I think that can also cause the problem.
Check the transmission... the unit doesn't give out usually unless there is a transmission is having a problem too. Either way the transmission has to come out.
