In a car, it is usually below the radio
If you do not see a fuse marked lighter, it may be protected by the fuse for the radio.
In the dash, behind roughly the center area where the radio is.
there is one under the dash that says radio
it shouuld be uder the radio
Because a mp3 is lighter and can carry it around and can fit in your pocket
under your steering wheel to the left.
Radio fuse or it may be a combination fuse controlling more than the radio. It can be listed as accessory, lighter, etc. The radio may also have an inline fuse not located in the fuse panel.
I am looking at the 1995 Jeep Wrangler manual (I own a 95 Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande), and it is telling me that you use yellow fuse with 20amp for cigarette lighter and radio problems. Goodluck! About to go fix my Jeep radio/cigarette lighter problem right now.
It is usually wired in with the radio or the courtesy/dome lights.
The ac controls fuse is the same as the radio/cig lighter which is located in the fuse panel next to the steering column.
the fuse will be ;ocated under the hood , drivers side of the engine
Turn the knob that is located on the right side of the dial.
it is located on the passenger side of AC/control panel, radio ect..., near floor.
your 15 A fuse located behind the coin box is blown.
the cig lighter and the radio run off the same fuse. if you find the cig lighter fuse..... you find the radio fuse. i had the same problem ;)
Remove the cigarette lighter. Then on the same panel where the cigarette lighter is located slowly pry the panel out. It is held in place by pins. Once that panel is removed you will see a few screws (three I believe) that need to be removed in order to get the radio out.
There is another fuse box (all minifuses) located under the dash on the drivers side, there is a 20 amp fuse that works both the radio and lighter there
It's a fuse, there is one for your lighter and one for your radio, even if its marked for both. Both of these (a lighter and radio) draw to much energy for one fuse at the same time.
Fuse panel. Open your owner's manual and read it.
there is a fuse. it is located behind the storage box to the left of the steering wheel. it is the fuse for the lighter as well.
Necessary or optional?
Most likely the fuse is blown, many cars have the cigar lighter and the radio on the same circut.
below the radio, behind the knee bolster. It is the piece of plastic that houses the cigarette lighter. Flashers are behind the lighter and towards the driver a few inches.
