I took the vehicle to the dealer service department. It turns out the vehicle battery was not providing the correct voltage. Once the battery was replaced, vehicle is running properly again. In the future I will check battery condition / voltage first.

Your Saturn starts right up but idles rough and stalls There is also a strong smell coming from the tailpipe area Once warmed up the Saturn runs normally but a little less power than usual?

I would check the temperature sensor. Sounds like the sensor is telling the computer wrong information and the the fuel mixture is being affected.

What would cause a 1989 Jeep Cherokee to not start in the morning yet later in the day fire up just fine?

I had a 90 Dodge Caravan that did that. Ended up being a bad/too slacktiming chain which caused the timing chain pick up (cam sensor)to send a signal too late to the computer. This caused the computer to go into a no run mode. When it warmed up a little it changed the position of the cam sensor just enough that it was able to send a signal a fraction of a second sooner and viola. It started. It was a real pain in the _ _ _ _ . Even the dealer couldn't figure it out.

Why 1998 Cadillac Catera refuse to start after the engine has warmed up The car starts when cold and operates normally Once the key is turned off the car will not start the fuel pump fails to engage?

The crank sensor had to be replaced on my 98 Catera when it was doing the same thing. I had to take it to the dealer to have this done.

Why your rx 350hard to shifl in the morning?

This is normal but aggravating, especially during winter. The transmission is designed not to shift into upper gears until it is warmed up sufficiently. Once it reaches the "magic" temp it shifts normally. If it is doing this even when your rx is warmed up and the check engine light is on then you may have bad knock sensors.
