test at the plug in at the horn and see if you have fire if so then yes the horn is bad if not you have other problems, you can also just hook a positive cable and a negative cable to the horn were it plugs in and make it honk,then you no the horn is good .simple yet effective
If you get within range of the car when it would normally unlock itself with the remote, Hold down the lock and unlock button on the remote at the same time for ten seconds and you should hear the lock click and it should be working from then on. It worked on my cavalier, and I hope it helps yours as well.
There's actually an on/off button for the temp/compass display on the mirror. It is the button located on the left front of the mirror itself. Push this and the display should turn on.

I have a '96 Cavalier and I'm having horn issues. Mine was located behind the front bumper on the passenger side. It is almost in the bumber itself.
To fix the cigarette lighter on a Chevy Cavalier, check the fuse first. Next check the wiring and the cigarette lighter itself for a problem.
because the computer isn't responsible for the actual triggering of the coil packs, it does affect when they fire but not the direct firing itself.. this is done by the ignition module which is controlled by the computer. so odds are that the ignition module itself is not working.
if it is a fixed pulley, itself doesnt move. If it is a rotating pulley, its joint probably doesnt move.
It is an inanimate object so it doesnt move by itself.
