2000 Chevy Cavalier engine quits while going down road will not start again for about 15 minutes what could be wrong?

Check and see if your engine is not over-heating first.
Had the same prob and after 3 days at a certified dealership they finally found that it was my fuel pump going bad.
Depending on the milage, sounds like an oxygen sensor to me
Check you fuel filter. That's probably why it will start again after 15 minutes. If it's clogged, fuel will take longer to get through it. Over time gas will get through it so you can start the car. It will run until it uses the fuel between the engine and the filter. Finally it won't be able to pull enough through the clogged filter to keep it running.

I have a 1991 Chevy cavalier standard. While driving it I can only go for like 20 minutes then the engine shuts off and I have to wait for it to start again. What might be causing this?
