4.8(293) or 5.3(327)
There are plenty of engines that can fit in a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro. Some options include: LS1, LS2, and LS3 motors.
NO, not even close. Chevy redesigned the engines and transmissions in late 1999.
There are many different models and engines for 2000 model year Chevrolets. Need more info please.
There are 8 freeze plugs in all small and big block Chevy engines up to the year 2000
dex-cool coolant is used in most 3.1 engines,
Both Cavalier engines, the 2.2 & 2.4 in 2000 are DOHC.
It will fit right in the 99 as long as it is not the new body style. In late 1999 Chevy redesigned the engines and transmissions and no longer used the 5.7L 350 engines.
I believe the Buick Rendezvous 02-05 uses the same engine.
NO. In 2000 chevy redesigned all the bodys, engines, transmissions and frames.
No it will not even get close. Chevy REDESIGNED the engines and transmission in late 1999.
yes 2.2 4cyl and 4.3 V6 are both aluminum engines
the 1996 and 1997 are the same and would not work in your 2000 straight from GM
about 2000 if your lucky
The 88 could have the 2.5, the 2.8 or the 4.3. Could you bolt in those engines in the 2000? The 2.5 and the 2.8, no. The 4.3 would bolt in but would be way too costly to change over the electronics and fuel injection.
No. In the late month of 99 CHEVY redesigned all the engines,Transmissions and the entire body. Nothing over the year 1999 will fit on anything under 1999
Well that depends, the 2000 Chevy c2500 is the transition year, and depending on what parts were remaining, as to what percentage of the vehicle is made up with 1999 parts. My 2000 Chevy c2500 truck has a distributor, my friends does not. Unsure as to why, but they are the original engines in both vehicles. Best to open the hood and look to the rear of the engine, do the spark-plugs enter into a roundish plastic device with fingers sticking out four on each side and one out the top. That would be the distributor.
It's an In Line 6 for sure.I own a 2005 Chevy TrailBlazer and since I'm in love of In Line 6 Engines, (I.E. 2000 Jeep Cherokee's) that's why I've got my Chevy.
I have been looking for a 2.2 engine for my 2000 s10 and what research i have found is that the 94-2003 will fit but the 2000 and up models have sensors the others do not have and that if you didnt have those sensors pluged up and override them that it would make the check engine light come on.
That would be the 4L60E transmission.
NO... It is not even close. Nothing under 1999 will work. Chevy REDESIGNED the engines and transmissions in late 1999.
Yes and No some are like engines and body work but some arnt... Like a transaxle
