you may have an obstructed air flow control door....like a pen fell down the dashboard vent and is keeping the door from opening... a diagram and pics are available in the manual... Everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and a professional shop manual should be available at your local library for diagnostic procedures etc, just make copies of the right pages, as they are usually REFERENCE only...read up and good luck :)
Its not the relay, it is the blower motor resistor.
With no speeds at all, check the fuse, then check the blower speed switch and it's electrical plug.
The blower resistor controls the speeds of the blower motor Hi-resistance lower motor speed Lo-resistance higher motor speed
If you do not have fan speeds it may be a fuse or the blower motor resistor. For help with the issue visit our enthusiasts forum at www.trailvoy.com
Only for the high speed blower function. The lower speeds go thru the blower motor speed resister.
Yes, located in the blower motor resistor pack. Follow the wires backward from the blower motor to find it.
if you lost one or two fan speeds you need to change the blower motor resister. it sells for around $60.00 at a dealer only.
The blower motor resistor is bad.
Not knowing what year S10 you have, you can generally find the blower motor high speed relay nearby the blower motor on the firewall. The resister for the other lower speeds is also found close by the blower motor.
Need to know what year. FYI, the relay for the blower motor only operates the high speed function. The lower speeds are operated by means of the blower motor speed resistor.
where is the rear AC blower on the Chevy Astro 98
There is a replaceable resistor which is in the engine compartment located on the blower. It is usually fastened by two small screws. Remove the electrical connectors and get a replacement. If the resistor is burned out you will still have high speed. If you have the lower speeds but no high speed, replace the blower motor high speed relay. If you have no speeds at all I would suspect either the blower speed switch and its electrical plug is at fault or the blower motor itself is bad.
If you have no blower speeds at all, first check the fuse. If the fuse is okay I would suspect the blower speed switch and its electrical plug has melted. If the switch checks okay I would suspect the blower motor is bad. If you have high speed only, I would replace the blower motor speed resistor. If you have all lower blower speeds but no high speed, replace the high speed relay.
where is the blower motor on a 2001 chevy blazer
Swap the relay with a known good one, many of the relays are of the same part number. Keep in mind that the blower motor relay only controls the high speed function. The blower motor speed resistor and the blower motor switch controls the lower speeds.
Resistor pack on blower motor? Fan switch? Low speed relay?
Go to your Chevy dealer and have the parts department print out a copy for you. If you are having trouble with the fan speeds, this is often the blower resistor located behind the glovebox. Get a new one at a Chevy dealership. About 20.00.
How do you replace the blower motor on a 1994 chevy lumina euro?
If the HVAC blower motor does not work on any speeds, I would suspect the motor or the switch is bad.
how to change the blower motor
Assuming the lower speeds are working I would check the blower motor high speed relay in the power distribution box under the hood, if that checks out okay, check the switch.
Remove the wiring harness from the 1996 Chevy Cavalier blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the blower motor fan. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.
A Chevy 305 is not a transmission it is a motor. If you mean a Chevy turbo 350 then the answer would be 3 different forward speeds and reverse.
the blower fan is not working in my turck how do i fix it
Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1996 Chevy Corsica blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the fan from the front of the blower motor. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.
