It's the upper strut bushings. It probably will gwt worse when it's cold.

It's in the low pressure line running along the passenger side of the engine compartment. If there is a connection there with a nut, it's inside the tube there. If the line has no connection, it is crimped in and that section has to be cut out and replaced with a repair kit, or a new line installed.
You need to support the engine so that the cradle can be removed and the mount can be unbolted and replaced.
There is a reset switch for the fuel cut off in the trunk on the passenger side. If it is already in, but it still says "fuel cut out" try clearing the computer memory. The mercury repair manual has descriptions of how to do these things. Good luck!
