All Mercedes model cars should only use synthetic DOT4 brake fluid
im changing the fluids in a 2003 kawasaki ninja and NEED A LITTLE HELP. OIL, OIL FILTER, BRAKE FLUID, ETC. ANY INFORMATION WILL BE HELPFUL. THANK YOU
You need brake fluid
Check the brake fluid reservoir and be certain that it is full. If it's just a matter of the disk brake pads wearing, you might just need to add a little fluid, but if it's leaking fluid you need to get it repaired.
Brake fluid does not need to be changed as oil is but constantly needs to be replenished.
You will need a hoist, a socket wrench set and a torque wrench. You will also need the brake pads, brake fluid and brake grease.?æ
A Mercedes E350 D service means that your vehicle needs some type of fluid change. You need to get your vehicle serviced soon or change the fluids yourself.
DOT ( 3 ) brake fluid
DOT ( 3 ) brake fluid
If you are driving and need to brake, but find your brake pedal is getting closer and closer to the floorboard, you need the check your fluid. Eventually your brakes will not have enough fluid to create the pressure needed to apply the brake pads properly and you risk accidents.
More than likely DOT3. If you will look on the top of the Master Cylinder cap, you will find the proper fluid listed.
If you're only changing the pads, no. You only need to bleed if the hydraulic system was opened or if you wish to flush/change the brake fluid.
You need to have the brake fluid changed immediately. Washer fluid will damage all of the seals in the brake system
