If water is actually leaking there you have a bad freeze plug in the engine block... confirm by crawling underwith a good flashlight, the motor mount may have to be removed to replace......
No they are the same blocks.Where did you get the mounts on the 350 from? The 305 or junk yard?Is it a new 350 or older 350?
because a 350 is a larger motor than the v6
You will have antifreeze leaking out and dripping on the ground.
a 350 is the same block and has same tranny bolt pattern as a 305.
There is a freeze out plug behind it that seals the water jacket up. REPLACE freeze plug.
That depends on where the oil leak is, is it in the motor self or is one of the seals leaking?
sounds like you have a leaking head gasket
A leaking radiator hose would NOT cause this to happen, you have 2 problems with this vehicle.
they are both V8s, they should use the same motor mounts
You can put in a Chevy 350 motor using special motor mount plates from Summit or any other performance parts place. If you have access to a welder and some time, you could do it. Google Chevy S10 motor swaps and do some research... You can put in a Chevy 350 motor using special motor mount plates from Summit or any other performance parts place. No. The 350, is a 5.7.
1 and 1 1/4
the water jackets are different , the motor will keep running hot
the same ones that mount the straight 6 being swapped
I just did a head job on my 350 motor and now my oil is a little low and the water is darker
There is no difference. There both the same engines.
