Is anything interchangeable on a 1985 Camaro to a 1979 Camaro?
Not really anything. The seats wont fit, tried first hand. The only thing i can think of is the rims, the motor, and the tranny with the matching drive shaft.
How can you access the Oddometer head on a 1992 Grand Marquis to see why it's not counting the miles any more Thanks Driller - but can you be more specific about the 'gear in the tranny'?

In my 91 camaro rs v6 you can start in first and shift up manually but if in drive or overdrive it wont shift itself is transmission acceleration sensor responsible for automatic tranny not shifting?
I had the same problem with my '92 camaro 3.1 V6. Take your car to a transmission specialist, and he can throw a diagnostic pad on it. On mine, my entire transmission and torque converter were fried. Cost me $1000.
