under panel in dash by fuse box - take off panel there should be a horn relay switch. looks like a square box with three prongs
the right front fender under the headlight
My first step would be to check for a blown fuse. Then the second step is to check the horn relay. It's on the drivers side under the dash, behind the fuse panel. You probably have to unscrew the plastic under dash panels under the steering column to get at it.
that's not a question....but if anyone could help me, i have a 91 cavalier and one day, i was honking the horn and it just cut out.....i know its not the fuses, and that it has something to do with the wires b/c the front part of the horn on the steering wheel comes off......all i can get it to do is make a clicking noise
I have a '91 Cavalier 2.2L My flasher is located behind the fuse box to the left of the steering column. The flasher is mounted against the firewall.
look on the drivers side kick panel
The relay is supposed to be attached to the fuse panel harness close to the fuse panel. The fuse is also the headlamp fuse, fuse number 11. It's labeld "HOLD/DLY" and is a 25 amp fuse.
Check the fuse panel accessible on the driver's side with the door open. Pop the cover panel, and it's fuse #10, a 25amp clear/white (the only one of that type in my 91).
Try going off of the Fuse panel usually in wranglers its common for the connector (find the connector from fallowing the wire off of Horn fuse) comes loose and needs to be reset. its located by the steering column under dash.
Under the dash, driver's side. Accessed by opening a plastic cover.
Are the front driving components(A-arms)from a 1993 Cavalier compatable with a 1990 Cavalier?
My 91 Cavalier (RS 2.2L) doesn't have one but my 95 does on the left side of the drivers seat.
Located in the engine bay, look for black fusebox next to passenger-side upper front strut tower.
