92 Honda accord interior lights on door and overhead not working when driver side doors are opened but works fine with passenger side.?

This isn't
an answer but I have the same problem w/ my Honda civic... ik they arent the same but the light wont turn on when neither doors in the front are open... I think it's got something to do with the sensor or whatever... the one that's black and feels rubbery.
