92 dodge Spirit After I've been driving it for about 15 minutes the check engine light comes on and then when I turn it off and start it again the light isn't on. Can anyone help me?
Could be that after you started it then turned it off then restarted it that you've reset the codes and fooled the Computer... you need to have the codes run on the car to see what the problem really is, i dont think its anything major since the car seems to be running good.
This is happening to my car too and I had the codes run and they did a scope on my engine and a bunch of other things and they could not find anything wrong. They said to be careful and monitor the temperature because it did occassionally show it was over heating but other than that not to worry. It has now also stopped over heating. Mine is a 94 but the problem sounds the same.
What would cause the temperature gauge in a 1995 Dodge Spirit go all the way to H after 10 minutes of driving with no smoke or evidence of overheating?

Well my head gasket was in bad shape causing me to lose oil and the engine getting…
Why does check engine light on 1991 Chevrolet Corsica 3.1 L come on after 10 minutes of highway driving?

In a 1991 Chevrolet Corsica, if the light comes on while driving after 10 minutes on the highway, it is best to limit driving to prevent further damage. Check the owner manual for reasons the light may be coming on or let a mechanic evaluate the issue.
Remove the battery cables for 5 minutes, should do it. Then the computer will reset and relearn after driving again. If a major fault was present before, it will return via the check engine light. If you need an inspection, then unhooking the battery for 5 minutes and driving maybe 20-40 miles and then going for inspection may do the trick. There is a small window where the check engine light hasn't come on yet…
