clean your egr valve if you have already changed the fuel filter in the frame.. it is easier to clean the egr valve than pay the almost $200 dollar new one..my blazer would run fine but when you would stop, the thing wanted to start missing.. then stall...
The distributor drive gear would be part of the camshaft. The camshaft would have to be replaced.
Right behind the distributor, in the very edge of the block.
Usually next to the distributor or next to/above the oil filter.
Top, rear drivers side of engine, below the distributor. Removing the distributor gives you room to R&R the oil pressure sending unit.
Assuming it has a 4.3 engine, the oil sending unit is located under the hood, in back of engine, drivers side, next to the distributor. It is difficult to see and get to. Removing the distributor makes it accessible.
Back under the distributor, To the right towards the fire wall.
It is on the firewall end of the intake manifold below the distributor

It is right behind the distributor. It is about 3 to 4 inches long with an electric wire pluged into it. It is trickey to remove.
The oil pressure switch is directly behind the carburator. Between the distributor and the carb.
