94 dodge spirit 3o v6 the type with the tensioner rate under the alternator and the problem that im having is that your belt is riding on the ouside of the PS pully tensioner good and PS berings good?
If the belt is riding on the outside of the pulley then the
Alternator isn't on perfectly straight or atleast straight enough
to keep the belt on... My Spirit did that and it split the belt and
I had to get a new belt, and it was cause the garage didnt space
the pulley that's on the alternator like it should have been... I
don't have an impact wrench or else I would of done it myself and
done it right.
