That all depends on several variables. Is it driven in the city or mostly highway? Quality of the pads, shoes, rotors, etc installed? What kind of driver are you? Do you run 90 mph stop light to stop light and slam on the brakes or do you anticipate stopping and use the brakes as little as possible? How about riding the brakes? Towing a trailer?

If the back end of your vehicle starts to skid do not panic and apply the brakes because if you do that the problem's gonna worsen ! All you have to do is continue driving but at a lower speed because this is gonna happen mostly on highways or a long road cause that's when you're faster and this happens. So continue reducing your speed gradually until you can safely use your brakes.
