check wiring connections make shure they are tight or that they all got put back on. check for available voltage at starter and batteries also proform voltage drop test on starting circuit
when we turn the key nothing happens someone suggested the starter relay. where is the starter relay or what is it?
Turn the key to start and if nothing happens could be a bad starter.
You know if it is broken if you take it out of the vehicle, test it and nothing happens.

You need to replace the starter solenoid .
Attempt to start-nothing happens or may drag like weak battery-or may grind
Check the starter and your fuses.
Seized engine? Bad neutral safety switch? Bad starter or starter solenoid? Loose cable connection at battery or starter?
WHEN TURNING THE KEY AND GETTING NOTHING. LATER FINDINGS WAS THAT THE STARTER WAS NO GOOD AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.

If the starter is engaging and the starter is able to turn the engine normally, there is nothing wrong with the solenoid. Instead, I'd look at fuel, ignition and compression.

If there is a single click from the starter area, the starter is bad. If not, it could be an ignition switch.
the wire on the little peg is on the wrong one ther should be one directly across put it on that one to engage your starter
You usually can suspect that the starter is bad if you turn the ignition key and nothing happens. You hear a clicking sound but the engine does not turn over. The dash lights should come on.

I had a similar problem turns out the Alternator was bad.
Low or no oil and you seized the internal bearings Overheated and burned out the starter
