A baby horse is actually called a foal, male or female. Ponies and horses are not the same. A baby horse is not always a pony. Ponies are specific breeds of horses.

Young male horses are called colts and young female horses are called fillies.

There is no way you can tell just by looking at the horse. But if you talk to a vet you can talk about veteranarians to contact about a special scan the can do to look at the foal and see if it's healthy ect. but it will cost a lot of money. Somewhere in the thousands. And even 10 thousands depending on who you go to. Try to find a specialist but talk to your vet first. Good luck!!!!!!!! ok!

It depends. If a seahorse is pregnant, then, the boy has the baby. Otherwise it's the girl.
