Let x be the quantity of 5 gram bolts and y be the quantity of 10 gram bolts.
5x + 10y = 3800
x = 760 - 2y
and
x + y = 460
x = 460 - y
therefore
760 - 2y = 460 - y
300 = y
and x + 300 = 460
then x = 160
There are 160 bolts weighing 5 grams each and 300 bolts weighing 10 grams each.
