slope = change_in_y / change_in_x

→ change_in_y = slope × change_in_x

The first point with a whole number for the x-coordinate above (2, 1) will have an x-coordinate of 3 = 2 + 1

→ change_in_x = 1

→ change_in_y = 3×1 = 3

→ new y = 1 + 3 = 4

→ The first point above (2, 1) with whole number coordinates on the given line is (3, 4).
