How can one form a peptide bond?

Peptide bonds are formed between two amino groups. These are
condensation reactions as a molecule of H2O is produced as the bond
is formed. Peptide bonds are formed during protein synthesis, where
two adjacent amino acids form a peptide bond between them. As more
of these amino acids are bonded together, a protein is formed.

a peptide bond
Proteins are formed when amino acids undergo a
dehydration/condensation synthesis reaction, and a water molecule
is formed in the process. This forms a peptide bond, also known as
an amide bond.
