if they don't, then if (a) the mass of A object and (b) the mass of B, while C the velocity of A and D the velocity of B you have to find this:

Z=(a*C^2)/(b*D^2). if Z is greater than 1, object A has more kinetic eneregy. if it is equal to 1 they have the same kinetic energy, and if it is less than 1 then B has more kinetic energy.

Well Inertia has to do with the mass of the moving (or possibly stationary) object...

If the two objects have the exact same mass, then the one moving faster has much more inertia, because it requires more force to bring that object to rest.

For example:

Would you rather have a Bowling ball thrown at you traveling at 1 MPH or 100 MPH?

Answer:

1 MPH because it is much easier to stop.

no, not really, according the equation Ek=1/2mv2

kinetic energy of an object is directly proportional to mass and its speed.

if an object is moving twice the speed of another object than its kinetic energy is also twice than the second object. But if the second object is double the mass of the first object than moving at half the speed still their kinetic energy will be the same.

Kinetic energy is 1/2 times M times V^2 so the faster the object is moving the more kinetic energy it has more speed = more kinetic energy
