In reading this statement it sounds like an assignment for a class that you need to write. As a teacher with 30 years experience I could write this statement, but it would be what I think and not you. Sit down and think about what this means and write your statement. It is really the foundation of what "makes a teacher" and the start of your philosophy of teaching. Each teacher needs to have a philosophy concerning what they bring to students and what they expect from students. My guess is that you are just starting teacher education and your instructor is using this to help you format your thinking about teaching.

The statement suggests that each child is a genius. But that is not altogether true. If the statement says that each child has a latent talent that a teacher has to "bring out" and nurture, I begin to reason with it. The statement also implies that a teacher is saddled with the responsibility to bring out the best in a child entrusted to him.

Do you believe that every child is genius why?

Every child is born a genius. It depends what you do after your time of birth that matters. For example you are a mother to a 1 year old baby what you should do is make it familiar with books, math, science ect and that child will keep it genius status. If you leave that child to watch tv, eat and sleep then of course, it won't be as smart as the first baby. I will give you the secret to Genius. You need,30 percent dedication and 70 percent hard work if you are a genius/gifted(in terms of iq). If you are normal which is very likely you need 1 percent genius and 99 percent hard work. Hard work includes dedication, motivation, practice and of course belief. I have an iq of 132. I don't believe im a genius for 1 minute because i know the reason i have that iq is thanks to my parents who guided me the right way. Cheerio!

Is 121 a good IQ score for a 20 year old?

If the IQ test you took is accurate it shouldn't make a difference how old you are when you take it. An IQ test does not determine what you know rather it determines how great your "Ability to Learn" is. Average is 95 - 105. Genius begins at 140. 121 would be well above average but not yet genius.

If a child can draw a circle does that mean he is a genius?

according to the Beery Dev. Test of Visual Motor integration used by most occupational therapists, A child is supposed to be able to imitate a circle/ circular movements on paper by the age of 2. A child is supposed to be able to draw a round circle (not perfectly thought) by the age of 3. And as mentioned before drawing skills are no indicator of intelligence, but they may indicate the child's visual motor skills related to handwriting.AnswerIt just means that he has the motor skills to obey a simple command. Motor skills do not equate to intelligence, as many athletes prove. AnswerFirst, how old is the child? But for the most part drawing a circle is a normal stage for children by the age of 5. AnswerWell, for one I believe that it depends on how old the child is. My eldest daughter is 5 and she can draw a circle and has been able to since she turned 4 because she was fortunate to go to pre-school and now is enrolled in kindergarten. I believe a circle is one of the most basic patterns to draw yet some children may be more ahead of others and be able to do such things at younger ages than others. I think most children should be able to draw a circle by ages 5-6. I don't think there are "genius" children because we don't learn most of what exists in life until a later age in life. There are very gifted and talented young children, but I don't think that makes them genius. Answerno because its only a circle AnswerJust the ablitity to draw a circle is not any indicator to him being a genius.

Why genius are born not made?

Genius is often attributed to a combination of innate talent and exceptional environmental factors, such as supportive upbringing or access to resources that nurture intellectual abilities. While some individuals may have a natural predisposition to excel in certain fields, the development and expression of genius typically involve a combination of genetic predispositions and external influences. Ultimately, the nature versus nurture debate continues, but it is likely that both factors play key roles in the creation of genius.
