There are many advantages to growing in a controlled environment, and by that i think you mean a green-house, what else would you be talking about, but anyway i apologize for my off topic-ness

the advantages are as follows

• you can grow all year
• you can grow many crops that you cant outside
• you can control humidity and how much water your plants get
• you can control pests and plant diseases
• and many other advantages

the disadvantages are as follows

• very expensive
• lots of work to keep track of

i think that in this case the advantages outweigh the disadvantages and if your thinking of growing in a controlled environment, then just go for it.

Global Warming, Fruits and Vegetables are ugly, Infection can spread easily if 1 plant if infected, Plants and Vegetables are expensive, and are small in size
