After you replace the power steering pump in a 1990 Celica GTS do you need to bleed system of air?

Yes. The easiest way to do this is to turn the steering wheel fully from side to side several times while the car is running. It may take some time to get all the air out, sometimes a couple of days of driving. Don't hold it at the full turn for any length of time as its hard on the pump & rack when you do this.
