A horse's training starts from birth. If a foal is around humans from the beginning, it will be easier to train. This is called imprinting. Eventually, the horse will be halter trained, taught to lunge, and multiple other things. If you mean at what age the horse is ridden first, that is usually and ideally around 2 or 3 years old. But sometimes something happens and the horse's training is delayed.

Any horse can really start training at any age (if its a foal, i would wait until it has been nursing for a little while or until weaned) it just mainly depends on what extent of training your aiming for.

It really depends on the rider and trainer, you shouldn't ride a horse till the age of at lest 2 1/2 to 3 depending on the horse. If the rider is inexperience then they should get more riding done before they try to ride a green broke horse, and they trainer should know if the rider is experienced enough to ride the horse.

All racehorses are technically born on January first, although they are really born in the spring.

They usually start to race at about one or two, which is really hard on their legs since they are not fully grown.

It depends. Should be broken about the age of 2 - 6 years. Older than that is a little late and before is early and can effect the horses growth and ability.

Again, it really depends on what you are going to train it to do (eg. Showjump) and what breed and temperament

The age at which a horse 'should' be ridden is the cause of major debate in the horse world. Many people begin saddle training and riding horses as long yearlings ( one year and six months) and two years old to get them ready for futurities and races. However this practice is detrimental to the horse as a horses leg bones/joints are not fully formed and hardened until they are at least three or four years old. Therefore it is best to wait until the horse is at least three years old, and certainly no jumping until the horse is completely done growing at five years old.

How do you get your horse older on Howrse?

Horses age on Howrse each day you log in to the game. Also, you can use aging points to age your horse by 2 months. If you want to use aging points, train your horse for the day and then put the horse to sleep either in the stall or the pasture. Then click the pyramid and it will tell you how many aging points you have. Use one and your horse will age 2 months and you can start your training over. You can age your horse as much as you want as long as you have the aging points.
