Anime is a part of Japanese culture. It may be offensive to some people, but true, but anime is just basically Japanese Cartoons. Therefore, there is no such thing as American anime, but an alternative for american anime is just plain cartoons.

these are two completely different anime's, American anime is more h3nta1 than anime. Japanese anime is their kind of cartoon but, their cartoons are more "Dogman".
