Obviously, you need to replace the pump ASAP. If you can't get to the store today, do you know a fellow aquarium hobbyist who could loan you a spare until you can replace yours?
To avoid problems in the future, you need to think like NASA. REDUNDANCY! Always have a backup filter, heater, pump, and if possible a backup tank.
We love our technology ... until it fails.
my friend had a 30 gal. aquarium given to her with an Askoll brand aquarium filtration system . she said hat the power head was made in France.I've been an aquarium owner for about 7 years now but do not know how to help her install and assemble this type of filtration. thank you, Amy
Snake-heads which are now illegal and that's if your talking about freshwater aquarium.
I would try replacing the fuel filter first.
Check the fuel filter. If your pump went bad, there's a good chance the filter is now very clogged.
A one gallon aquarium is very difficult to maintain, however it can be done with proper filtration. An under gravel filter however does not work for saltwater very well at all. If you only use large substrate then it can work with constant water changes. I have a one gallon aquarium for a bright green mantis shrimp that I run with a small internal filter. I take a small cup of water out of it and replace it with my hundred gallon every once in a while. Tank has been up and running for almost a year now with no problem.
They were first toys then went more expensive because of power and now it is a hobby.
I would first change trans filter and fluid; this is not uncommon when filter gets plugged up.
Now that I think about it, I think it does a little...
You will need a special tool, which is very cheap at any place like Oreillys or AutoZone, and you will need this to remove the filter from the fuel lines. I just now went to Oreillys and bought it for $3. Im in the process of changing my filter and pump right this minute. Hope this helps!
Because you need to change the gas filter in the carburetor and you need to change the rotor and distributor. I did and the backfiring went away. Now it runs great
You cooked it
Check your timing belt? Fuel Filter?
