No dog does fine sitting around the house. Dogs are active animals, and they need the discipline of going for walks. If you own a dog, part of your job is to take the dog out for at least an hour every day - some dogs need more. Dogs are pack animals, also, and the walk is part of knowing where they stand in the pack, which makes them comfortable. Dogs need to know exactly where their place in the pack is, or they get nervous. And if they don't get enough exercise, they get bored, and do things like chew up your stuff and poop on the floor.

So that you are actually doing something than sitting around in the house and or on the computer. Playing outside or just having fun outdoors is also good for your body. Its good for your health too. Being physically active is good. And while the weather is still great, go out and have some fun while you can! Its better than sitting around in the house walking back and forth.
