It depends on where you're located. I'm in California and our laws here is that in order to be able to carry an Airsoft gun or posses one, the gun is required to have an orange tip indicating that the gun is in fact a toy and not a real weapon. Every state has a different set of laws for having one of these in you possession. Also, some distributors ship internationally and in that situation you'd need to know what the custom laws are because some country won't allow these toys into their borders for the fact that these items are too realistic to the real thing. I know Airsplat.com is a great place to look at because the ship all over the world. I do business with them all the time and frankly, I would go anywhere else because I trust them and their products.
