Are all the Airbus cockpits the same?

Not quite. For instance there are differences in the number of engines. Most models are twin engines while A340 and A380 have four engines. Obviously those have to be managed differently. Additionally, the age of the plane is important: older models such as A300 and A310 have the traditional control column, while ever since the A320 this was replaced with a side stick and fly by wire technology. Lastly, every new generation of planes gets the state of the art equipment of that time, which is usually different from the previously used technology adding more features, implement improved features and replacing obsolete ones.
