Yes, all the original members are alive. Though they are all lucky to be. Axl Rose is 50, Slash is 47, Izzy Stradlin is 50, Duff McKagan is 48 and Steven Adler is 47. If you were to count Matt Sorum as an original member, he is 51.

He is currently (as of the November 25th, 2010) suing Activision, the makers of the Guitar Hero games, for apparently tricking him into allowing the use of "Welcome to the Jungle" as well as the likeness of fellow band member, Slash. He apparently allowed its use on the premise that no mention of Slash or Velvet Revolver would appear in the same game. This would be some trick for a dead man.
