Since "extinct" means there are no more of that species left on earth, I'm not aware of any species that has been wiped off the face of the earth due to cruelty.

∙ 13y agoNot exactly, the main causes of animal extinction is habitat loss, hunting or poaching. Animal creulty affects animals on a smaller level but is illegal and extremely cruel.
