Here are some opinions from the community:
- I have heard of some stomach problems that they have but I think that all Dog Breeds are great and the bulldog is a type that I personally love.
- My bulldog rocky is great! I highly recommend this type of dog if you live alone or need a companion.
- It actually depends what type. A French Bull Dog is a quite small lap dog, but quite energetic. They have a squashed snout and a stout, muscly build. They grow to 11 inches minimum.
- They are great companions and do not need much room.
- A Pit Bull Terrier was originally bred for fighting. It is stout and muscly, fast, heavy and could do a lot of damage. Apart from that, if you train it well from birth, it can grow into a kind, family pet.
- Bulldogs are very lovable dogs that are great with kids and can be easily trained. All dogs can be good dogs... with the right training. Bulldogs can commonly experience breathing and chest problems. They get their name from having to grab the ring on the nose of a bull. these dogs specifically were used because of there short snouts and knotted tails.

∙ 13y agoBulldogs can be stubborn at times, like if they have something their mouths, the will not want to let go of it and will hold on with all of their might. ( and they are pretty strong) One thing they are not stubborn with is food. maybe if you take away food, but they really do not care what they eat. hope that answered your question. :)
