That Depends on where you live, what the weather is like in you location, Who you live with, And how you are. Your whole family has to choose what pet they want. If a few members in your family don't want a dog, a dog would NOT be the best choice.

Yes, cats are good pets. 1 thing that I like about cats is that you don't have to take them on a walk every single day. also they are good first pets because you just have to feed them and change their litter and someone can help you with that. :)
